Qualifications & Experience:

• Should have at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized University.

• Must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering discipline from a recognised University obtained after the year 2010.

• Must have demonstratable teaching/research interests in areas related to any of the following, i.e., Computational Theory, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Embedded Systems and Microcontroller Programming, High-Performance Computing and Game Engineering, Natural Language Processing, Robotics and Control Systems, Internet of Things Sensors and Cloud Computing, CyberSecurity and Digital Forensics, Block Chain Technology and Algorithms, and Human-Computer Interaction.

• It is desirable to have University teaching experience at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer for at least two (2) years, or Tutorial Assistant for at least three (3) years, or equivalent experience in the industry or research institution.

• Must have at least one conference or journal publication OR should have undertaken at least one research project/paper.

• Should have strong oral and written communication skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• To teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department in the semester;

• To carry out research, assessment of exams and other assignments, teaching, mentoring, supervision of undergraduate research, development of specialist teaching
and learning material, including short courses in the area of specialization and related disciplines;

• To contribute to the broader engagement of scholarly and professional communities including, reputation both internally and externally;

• To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high-quality curriculum;

• To assist in the development of learning materials and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance;

• To provide student support in pastoral roles, counseling and career guidance to students;

• To participate in the administration of the department’s programs of study and other activities as requested, including, building e-learning into the delivery of teaching
to students as appropriate;

• To contribute to departmental, faculty and wide working groups or committees as required;

• Perform any other official duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Senior Lecturer (Data Science) 

Qualifications & Experience:
• A PhD in either Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognised
University.
• The applicant must possess knowledge and research interests in any of the following areas, i.e., Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; Data Visualization, High-
Performance Data Analytics; Security, Privacy, and Ethics in Data Science, and Natural Language Processing.

• Should have a Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field from a recognised University obtained after the year 2010.
• Must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field.
• Must have University teaching experience at the rank of Lecturer for at least three (3) years. Special consideration will be made for applicants with equivalent work
experience in a research institution or equivalent work experience in the industry.
• Must have at least two current peer-reviewed journal publications in the area of academic expertise.
• Should demonstrate the skills and experience to supervise postgraduate students.
• Professional growth as evidenced through membership to a professional body, presentation at professional meetings and consultancies in one’s area of specialization
will be an added advantage.
• Should have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a committed and practicing Christian.

• To lead departmental research labs, carry out research, and supervise postgraduate and undergraduate research students;

• To lead projects and write project proposals to attract research funds to the department;
• To teach courses allocated by the Head of Department, assessment of exams and other assignments, development of specialist teaching and learning material,

Qualifications & Experience:

• Security and Networking Certifications e.g CCNA, Comptia+, CISSP are preferred.

multiple computer platforms.
• Monitors network and server data flow, performance and security using a variety of evaluation tools; analyzes data flow patterns; checks network logs to detect
