University Football League Quarter Final Draws & Dates Confirmed
The Pepsi University football league tournament is back after 2 and a half months following the successful completion of the group stages games, where universities that qualified from the group stages had to be subjected to draws to see who faces who on the next round of the quarter finals
The 8 teams that qualified for the next round included Makerere University, Uganda Martyrs University, St Lawrence University, Nkumba University, Kampala University, Makerere University Business School, Bugema University and the Mukono based Uganda Christian University
These were subjected to draws on 1st of February at Kati Kati restaurant and Makerere University will be versing Last year’s semi finalists of Uganda Christian University while two time champions of Kampala University will be challenging last year’s first runner’s up of St Lawrence University
The defending champions of the tournament that is Uganda Martyrs University will be taking on Nkumba University, as Bugema will be preparing to take on Makerere University Business School, these quarter finals will be played between 15th February and 12th March to see which teams will progress to the next round of the tournament
